FEATURED IMPACT COMING SOON The Cheesecake Factory will open at The Shops at Highland Village, replacing the Barnes & Noble Booksellers located at the center. Barnes & Noble will move to The Highlands of Flower Mound, 6101 Long Prairie Road. A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation ling also con rms a Cheesecake Factory will move into the Highland Village space. The building that will house the businesses is under construction. The menu at Lambert’s will consist of American fare—made from scratch—with a wide selection of craft beers and spirits. Lambert’s will be open for lunch and dinner as well as includ- ing a brunch menu on the weekends, according to the company, and it is expected to open by the fourth quarter of this year. Vanellie’s will be a French/ European bakery. It will serve a variety of baked goods, such as cheesecakes and custom cakes, as well as muns, cookies, croissants, co ee and ice cream. The bistro and bar is set to open sometime this summer, according to ocials. The spot was also previously inhabited by Yel- low Rose Steakhouse and the aforemen- tioned Chandler’s Kitchen. A social media post by owners of The Funky Door Bistro & Wine Room in Lubbock said they would be the ones running the new restaurant, and it could open as early as August 1. 890 Parker Square Road, Flower Mound. 8 Je erson Northlake apartments will be built at Hwy. 114 near Ashmore Lane and will have 360 units.
