Hollywood Park eyes 3 possible road projects Hollywood Park officials are mulling how to approach what they called much-needed road repairs at three separate spots. The background Public Works Director Kelly Cowan briefed the City Council on Jan. 17 about preliminary efforts to determine what it will take to surface problems at William Classen and Donella drives and on bridges at Sterling Browning Road and Northoak Drive, and Trailcrest Street and Ridge Trail Street. Cowan said city staffers have received com- plaints from many residents about surface conditions at each of those intersections. NW Military work to finish in February Texas Department of Transportation officials said the $15.5M project to widen and upgrade Northwest Military Highway between Loop 1604 and Huebner Road in Shavano Park is on track for completion by early March. The project, which began in July 2021, is adding a center-turn lane, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, drainage fixes and other improvements.
