The mother-daughter duo opened Juicy Javas Nov. 24 inside Music City Mall Lewisville. Since then, business has been steady, Washington said. Washington started making juices at home for sale before the duo opened a physical storefront. Cold-pressed juices are a staple at the store. A crowd favorite is organic Kool- Aid, which contains no added sugar, Washington said. An opening date has not been announced, but the site is under construction. Hummus Republic is a Mediterranean restaurant that was founded in 2013, and it has locations in California, Ohio, Massachusetts, Virginia and Washington state.
