Camp Minnehaha enrollment increases Camp Minnehaha is the city’s summer camp program for children 5-12 years old. In a nutshell Since 2019, enrollment for the camp has increased by 44%. City officials said the growth can be attributed to increased popu- lation and demand for youth programming.
$30.5 million. As of early 2026, the camp has raised $24.3 million toward the project, MacDonald said. Construction is divided into four phases. Phases 1 and 2 will include a larger dining hall, a mainte- nance barn, two 18,150-square-foot family camp lodges and a 6,450-square-foot teen center. There will also be a recirculating creek feature. Phases 3 and 4 will add two additional lodges, a new worship sanctuary and a child care center, MacDonald said. A 26,540-square-foot welcome center will also be constructed during Phase 3, Community Impact previously reported. Phases 1 and 2 are expected to open by summer 2027, MacDonald said.
