CommUnityCare o ers general primary care, dental care, pediatric care and behavioral health services, although the speci c services o ered vary from location to location. CommUnityCare CEO Jaeson Fournier said the location for the new center was based in part on data that shows P ugerville has a high number of uninsured or underinsured residents. “[P ugerville] has consistently been—from CommUnityCare’s perspective—No. 1 or No. 2 of the highest-need ZIP codes in the area,” Fournier said. “This is going to allow us to increase our footprint here in P ugerville by threefold.”

Leadership from CommUnityCare held a groundbreaking ceremony Oct. 20 for the new center, located at 2700 W. Pecan St., Ste. 450, P ugerville. The facility is expected to be ready to open in early 2023. The new center is a substantial upgrade over CommUnityCare’s 3,500-square-foot facility in P ugerville, which it shares with Travis County. Senior Practice Administrator Chris- topher Rivera said the additional space will allow CommUnityCare to bring on more family medicine providers as well as providers for pediatrics and dentistry. “Coming to this new location ... will alleviate a lot of the overcrowding here
