San Gabriel Elementary School opening Georgetown ISD celebrated the opening of a new campus on Aug. 13. Located in Liberty Hill, it is GISD’s 11th elementary and will serve the growing population in the northwest portion of the district. 1 The East View High School Sparklers Varsity Dance Team performs ahead of the opening celebration for San Gabriel Elementary School. 2 School principal Rebecca Lambert addresses at- tendees of the opening ceremony. 3 The entrance of the school includes stair seating and gathering spaces. 4 The campus may look familiar to the community, as GISD reused designs from other schools to reduce costs.
