The business is a mobility equipment supplier that specializes in repairs, battery replacements for power wheelchairs and scooters, equipment sanitization, delivery and setup. The store also sells and rents a variety of medical assistance equipment. The 2,880-square-foot space building was previously a jewelry store, which was vacant for about four years. Franchise owners Gary and Ginger 14 The Quarry Splash Pad at Williamson County Southwest Regional Park opened for the summer season May 28. It will remain open through Sept. 5, and it will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays with the exception of Labor Day. The water park, surrounded by natural rock, has sprinklers, fountains, a waterfall, water cannons, a climbing wall, a slide and more. Daily admission is $2 per person for adults and children. On April 25, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area board of directors named Gordon Butler as the next CEO, which went into e˜ect May 16. BGCAA’s previous CEO was Misti S. Potter, who announced her retirement in March after 25 years with the organization. Currently, Butler works for Carroll ISD as the assis- tant superintendent for sta˜ and student services.
