4 hotel developments planned, underway A number of new hotel properties will soon oer overnight stays in McKinney. The properties range from boutique hotels like the Denizen McKinney, which will oer high-end design and amenities, to Tru by Hilton, a family-oriented hotel concept. Diving deeper Jesse Verghese, who is developing the La Quin- ta-Hawthorn hotel, said the concept will serve the demand for extended-stay suites in the area. “Hotel stays, they keep changing ... and we want to ... be able to keep up with what the travel and the occupancy is,” he said.
