fall, and construction will begin in August, according to Jiwani. Jiwani has lived in the city of Frisco since 2012 and had a desire to bring the Halal Guys brand to the city, he said. He said he and his team “look forward to being a part of the community and joining all the successful businesses already in Frisco.” Jiwani owns and operates the Plano, Carrollton and Southlake The Halal Guys restaurants. The Frisco location will be the rst to debut a new restaurant de- sign from The Halal Guys’ corporate team. Jiwani describes the new design as a “more urban setting.” www.thehalalguys.com 6 Fresh-baked cookie shop Crumbl will open in Frisco at the end of September or early October, according to franchise owner Adam Burnham. Crumbl Cookies will be located at 4880 Eldorado Park- way, Ste. 400, Frisco, in the Shoppes at Eldorado development alongside other tenants, including The Halal Guys and PT Neighborhood Pizzeria. The build-out process for a Crumbl store is eight weeks, so Burnham said he expects a fall open- ing date. He said he has been wanting to bring Crumbl to Frisco but had to wait for the right spot to becoming available. He has a goal to keep growing the company into other parts of North Texas, Burnham said. The franchise owner also has plans for another store near the Stonebriar Centre on Preston Road and believes the population of Frisco “can handle another Crumbl store.” He also has plans to expand into Prosper after the Eldorado location opens. www.crumblcookies.com 7 San Antonio-based Frost Bank will open a nancial center in Frisco at the southwest intersection of Warren and Dallas parkways. The chain is fast-casual and oers Middle Eastern food, with its “fab four” items be- ing shawarma, pita, hummus and sauces, according to Devin Handler, vice president for brand marketing. The restaurant makes all of its food in-house and focuses on the ingredients that are put in the food. Shreve, a Dallas local and Texas native, won seven international awards for photography in 2018, including the Silver Award from the Epson International Pano Awards for his work titled “Fall Lake Reection,” according to Shreve’s web- site. The shop will also oer “Back & Sides” cuts, a service focused on refreshing an old cut. The shop tailors its services to the individual person, he said.
