Khalidi looked for retail spaces in the Frisco and McKin- ney area and settled on a 1,539-square- foot location in the Asian-centric development Frisco Ranch. Cauldron Ice Cream serves custom, made-to-order ice cream that is frozen using liquid nitrogen. The establishment is known for its Puffle Cones, which is a bubble waffle cone, according to Khalidi. Cauldron Ice Cream officially opened in late July. www.cauldronicecream.com COMING SOON 9 California-based pizza brand Curry Pizza House is opening its first location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in Frisco. First-time franchisee Parneet Kaur is opening the restaurant with her husband, Gurpreet Kochar. The couple moved to Texas from California and could not find any pizza joints that combined Italian and Indian ingredients like Curry Pizza House did, according to Kochar. The Frisco location is slated to open in mid-August. The emergency room treats various emergency conditions, including abdominal pain, accidental poisoning, bites, burns, eye injuries, high fever, dehydration and more, according to its website. The Frisco location at 5245 Preston Road has the ability to do CT scans, sonograms and lab work, so imaging and tests can be conducted on site. The Texas-based company also strives to provide shorter wait times than hospital ERs. “Our patients come to us because they

The FISD employee clinic is housed in a district facility formerly used for athletic offices but is now leased to Dallas Physician Medical Services for Children, which operates the clinic.
