HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS MONTH

FROM CHRISSY: There is no shortage of new businesses to check out in our area this month. Be sure to see what’s new and what is coming soon on pages 6-7. And, if you are a lover of crawsh, you already know it’s the season to roll up your sleeves and sport a bib! A local favorite is Han’s Crawsh. Read more about the Tomball venue in our dining feature on Page 19. You can stay up to speed on even more new business updates and daily happenings by visiting communityimpact.com and subscribing to the daily newsletter. Chrissy Leggett, GENERAL MANAGER

FROM ANNA: Our cover stories unpack two historic water moments in Tomball and Magnolia. In the Tomball area, the North Harris County Regional Water Authority voted to lower water rates for the rst time in its 22-year history, eective Feb. 1 (see Page 27). In Magnolia, the city has implemented a temporary development moratorium until more water capacity can be added and has new water wells underway (see pages 24-25). Anna Lotz, SENIOR EDITOR
