FROM THE EDITOR: It is my absolute pleasure to introduce myself as the new editor of Community Impact’s Flower Mound/Highland Village/Argyle edition. I’ve been a local journalist for more than 10 years at publications in and around Denton County, and I’m thrilled to now call Community Impact home. To say I’m familiar with the area is an understatement. I grew up in Denton County, attended college at the University of North Texas and bought my rst home in Denton County—where I still live today. The area has always been home to me. I have no plans to bring anything less than the outstanding journalism you are currently receiving online and in print, and I can’t wait to get out and meet so many of you at local meetings and other events.
