8 Party City The location in the Richardson Heights shopping center is set to close, a company representative said. The company, which sells party supplies, will be winding down its operations and will close stores nationwide, according to the news release issued Dec. 21, 2024. The Richardson Party City location will remain open for “a few months,” an employee said, adding that the store may be open through February to reduce inventory levels. • 501 W. 10 Bawarchi Indian Cuisine Bawarchi Indian Cuisine’s owners celebrated 10 years of business in December. Menu items include Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and spicy garlic curry with onions and bell peppers. 11 Adventure Landing Entertainment Center Dallas City Council approved the purchase of Adventure Landing Entertainment Center and the adjacent soccer fields near the Richardson and Plano borders Dec. 11. Dallas spent $13.6 million to acquire the 13.48-acre property. The space is set to be developed into a city park at a future date.
