1 David Memorial Drive extension Project: A project to extend David Memorial Drive to Hwy. 242 began in September 2023 under the terms of an interlocal agreement between the city of Shenandoah and Montgomery County. Update: The first phase of work is completed to the Conroe city limits. Originally slated to be paid for by Conroe, the final portion of the project will now be funded by the Montgomery County road bond approved by voters in 2025. Engineer John Bleyl said the final phase of work should tentatively begin in August. • Timeline: August-TBD (Phase 2) • Cost: $2.5 million • Funding source: Montgomery County

2 Rayford Road and Discovery Creek Boulevard traffic signal Project: A traffic signal will be placed at the intersection and the project will add left-turn lanes in both directions on Rayford Road. Update: Construction started on left-turn lanes; pavement and signal installation is scheduled to be completed before end of summer. • Timeline: completion in late summer • Cost: $765,000 • Funding source: Montgomery County road bond 3 Grogan’s Mill Road at North Millbend Drive intersection upgrade Project: The project will redesign the traffic signal and intersection layout, upgrade traffic signal facilities, replace pavement in the intersection and restripe the intersection. Update: Construction started with installation of temporary traffic signal equipment and removal of existing signal equipment. • Timeline: Pavement replacement is ongoing in June and final signal installation will be by early fall. • Cost: $1.04 million • Funding source: Montgomery County road bond

4 Hwy. 242 widening Project: TxDOT is using the existing right of way on Hwy. 242 between FM 1488 and I-45 to widen lanes and restripe the intersections. Update: As of a June update released by TxDOT, the project being carried out by Posillico Civil Inc. was 86% complete. • Timeline: Oct. 23, 2023-fourth quarter of 2026 • Cost: $29.11 million Project: Westwood Magnolia Parkway Improvement District is adding pedestrian walkways, bike lanes, upgrading landscaping and adding left-turn lanes on Tamina Road between FM 1488 and FM 2978. Update: Final completion of the project is slightly delayed to replace the final concrete layer in several locations, officials said on June 1. • Funding sources: federal, state funds 5 Tamina Road improvements

6 Sawdust Road turn-lane extension Project: The project will extend the inside left-turn lane on eastbound Sawdust Road at I-45. It will help with thru- and turn-lane movement for eastbound Sawdust Road traffic heading toward I-45. Update: The project began in the spring and was completed as of a June 8 news release. • Timeline: Completed as of early June • Cost: $115,974 • Funding source: Montgomery County road bond
