Local holiday shop oers festive decor year-round Dean Yeager said he’s always appreciated the holidays—from running a small rental decoration service to leading a mobile gift-wrapping busi- ness—he’s done it all when it comes to Christmas. That was the case until Yeager said he wanted to open a local store that sold not just decora- tions but the best possible gift for everyone. How we got here Santa’s Sleigh Christmas Shoppe opened downtown in July 2024, during what Yeager said was the “Christmas in July” busy season. The specics Aside from villages, the store also has a large assortment of tree ornaments, Christmas †gurines, collectibles and unique gifts. The shop also has a mobile interior decorating service, in-store gift wrapping and tree decorat- ing service. Yeager said he †nds joy in watching people †nd the “little treasures” and gifts that will be enjoyed on Christmas day.

The shop is owned by Dean Yeager.

“We try to get people in the Christmas spirit when they come in here,” Yeager said. “Every single day, except on Christmas, because we’re closed that day.”

By participating in yearly markets and regional events, Yeager said Santa’s Sleigh has become a unique member of the Christmas shopping market in South Central Texas.
