The Unicorn—named after New Braunfels High School’s mascot —is a triple-beef patty sandwich with bacon, American cheese, fried onions and a Monterrey and Oaxaca fondue with a side of chili lime aioli. The venue also caters to coee lovers from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with its coee shop, which serves coee beverages, pastries and breakfast tacos. “We’re excited to have people check out the venue, and hopefully they enjoy it,” Sotelo said.

Co-owner Diego Sotelo said The Courthouse, which opened Nov. 4, was something the city needed. “New Braunfels [needed] a family hub where all family members—from parents to children and friends—can nd something to do all under the same roof,” Sotelo said. Sotelo said the venue was built with family in mind, which is why there is a playground for kids in the heart of the venue’s social area. The venue accepts bookings for private events such as birth- days, corporate events, and school and community
