HOLLYWOODPARK SHAVANOPARK
In the mid-1950s, property owners in a growing neighborhood north of San Antonio met in a resident’s garage to vote to incorporate Hollywood Park. The city is known for its deer population and plethora of trees.
Initially known as Shavano, the community started growing in the late 19th century accompanied by a general store and a post o ce. It was also a stagecoach and rail stop between San Antonio and Boerne.
