Lucy’s on the Square oers up comfort food in Celina Lucy’s on the Square owner Moises Casillas said every small town in Texas has an iconic restaurant, and in Celina that place is his restaurant. The establishment originally opened in 2004, and Casillas bought it in 2013. Long story short Casillas is originally from the Canary Islands in Spain but immigrated to the U.S. in 2012. In 2013, he relocated to Celina after buying Lucy’s. dog, Casillas said, but he changed the mascot to a cow after he bought the restaurant. The other big change Casillas made was adding the restaurant’s bar. What’s on the menu?

Lucy’s menu consists of comfort food. Casillas said the most popular item is the chicken fried steak. Other popular menu items include a selection of homemade pies. The best-selling pie, Casillas said, is the coconut cream pie.
