CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY COLLIN COLLEGE SPRING CREEK CAMPUS

The city of Plano and the Rotary Clubs of Plano will be hosting a parade and nightlong “All American 4th” celebration for Independence Day. The event opens at 6 p.m. with several vendors selling food and beverages. A parade running along Spring Creek Parkway will start at 7:30 p.m., with a reworks show starting directly after. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite sitcom characters, as a costume contest will be held at the end of the night. The showcase, titled “A Union of Hands and Voices,” will have three showings at the Willowbend Center of the Arts. The original showcase Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer is hosting highlights the diverse culture of the Deaf.
