City-Wide Vintage Sale Since 1977, the City-Wide Vintage Sale has hosted events for vintage lovers and bargain hunters alike. The sale takes place at the Palmer Events Center. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door on the day of the event. • Aug. 17, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Aug. 18, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. • $10 (adults), free (admission for ages 12 and under)

Austin Pride Parade and Festival Austin Pride Foundation’s annual event is back for its 32nd celebration. This year’s theme is Queer Cabaret: Unleashed Glamour and Glitz. The parade will start at the Texas State Capitol Building and make its way to the Ann Richards Bridge. Some of the events taking place include Drag Queen Story Time, carnival rides, vendor booths and concessions. • Aug. 10, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (festival), 8-11 p.m. (parade) • Festival: free (ages 6 and under), $10 (ages 7-17), $20 (ages 18 and up). All Genders, Lifestyles and Identities Film Festival
Austin’s oldest film festival, PRISM 37 by aGLIFF, is back showing films relevant to the lives of LGBTQI+ individuals and allies. The theaters participating in the festival are AFS Cinema, Galaxy Theatres, Violet Crown Cinema and Alamo Drafthouse Mueller. Opening Night of the festival will take place at AFS Cinema on Wednesday, August 21 at 6:00 p.m. Festival tickets can be purchased on the aGLIFF website.
