Grimes to CR 117 will be built. Update: CR 112 West, between A.W. Grimes Boulevard and CR 117, is approximately 66% complete. 2 Chisholm Trail South improvements Project: The city is reconstructing Chisholm Trail Road from Sam Bass Road to RM 620, with drainage, pedestrian, and lighting improvements. Update: Construction recently resumed. Pedestrian improvements are under design. • Timeline: roadway completion expected in summer 2026 • Cost: $4.26 million for construction • Funding source: type B sales tax revenue 3 Greenlawn Boulevard widening Project: The city is reconstructing Greenlawn Boulevard from an existing four-lane divided roadway to a six-lane divided urban roadway with pedestrian and lighting improvements. Update: construction began Jan. 19th • Timeline: completion is expected by April 2027 • Cost: $13.95 million

10 Chisholm Trail North Widening Project: The remaining two-lane road section will be widened to match the existing five-lane section from North Chisholm Trail to South I-35.
