Doggy Day Out oers all things canine in Pugerville After years of working in the corporate world, Steve Corona decided to ditch the oce cubicle to care for his four-legged friends full time.

Owner Steve Corona is a certied trainer and an active member of the Alamo Racing Canines Flyball Club.

“I think over time, people’s pets have become so much a part of their family,” Corona said. “People really want to know that their dogs are going to be kept in a safe environment, and we do our due diligence to keep them informed.” Making a splash One feature of the Keilman Lane location pet owners are unlikely to nd at other boarding centers is an above-ground swimming pool made specically for training dogs to dive, Corona said. Corona is now the owner of Doggy Day Out—a day care, training and grooming service with two locations in Pugerville. The gist In 2005, Corona opened Doggy Day Out at an existing kennel on Keilman Lane, and in 2018 he expanded to a larger location on Wilke Ridge Lane. Both centers oer boarding and day care options complete with outdoor playtime, 24/7 video moni- toring and climate-controlled indoor kennels. The Wilke Ridge location even oers a cattery for cat boarding away from the dog area.
