Pugerville. 512-990-6350. 18 SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS AT A POPUP SHOW Local artists will sell their work at an Arts and Culture pop-up art show held in downtown Round Rock. The show will feature more than a dozen artists, and attendees are invited to enjoy other shops and eateries in the downtown area. Main St., Round Rock. 512-671-2705. 18 ENJOY A DADDYDAUGHTER DATE NIGHT The Hutto Parks and Recreation Department will host a Hawaiian-themed Daddy-Daughter Date Night event at Cottonwood Creek Elementary School. All father gures are invited to bring their daughters to the event that features a DJ, refreshments and plenty of photo opportunities. Formal attire is welcome, but comfortable dress is encouraged. 7-9 p.m. $10 (registration per person required in advance). The Seless Lovers are a rock ‘n’ roll band from Austin that draws inuence from classic rock, soul, blues and Southern rock. Detective Chris Kelley, who was killed in the line of duty in 2016. Runners, walkers and strollers are welcome to join the rain- or-shine event. Participants may register online at the Chris Kelley Foundation website. 8:30-11 a.m. Free. The event includes categories for individuals, military and rst responders, relay groups and para athletes. As part of the 2022 event, athletes will have a choice of sprint or Olympic distance triathlon, sprint aquabike, or can choose to participate in an Olympic-distance or sprint relay. Participants must register online, and registration closes June 25. 7 a.m. $65- $180. Hosted by Farmer George Farmers Markets, the weekly event prioritizes Hutto-area vendors, artisans, farmers and ranchers specializing in locally grown, responsibly raised food and products. JUNETEENTH CELEBRATIONS Juneteenth is a national holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. It is also referred to as Emancipation Day, or Juneteenth Independence Day. Juneteenth falls on June 19, but many free celebrations are taking place in Round Rock, Pugerville and Hutto in mid-June.
