07 TAKE YOUR TWEEN TO A MAGIC WORKSHOP The Round Rock Public Library will host a magic workshop featuring magician Cody Fisher. Kids ages 8-12 will see close-up magic, participate in the show, and learn tips for performing their own magic tricks. 4:30-5:30 p.m. Free. Round Rock Public Library, 216 E. Main St., Round Rock. 512-218-7001. 09 LEARN TO CROCHET The Pugerville Public Library will host an adult craft night at which participants will learn the basics of the art of crocheting. Puger St., Pugerville. 11 ENJOY A FAMILY DAY IN THE PARK The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department will host a pop-up play day at Rock Hollow Park. The free event is designed for area residents to get to know their community parks and includes family activities, music and dance, food and refreshments. 5-7 p.m. 1415 Apollo Circle, Round Rock. 12 CHECK OUT A CAR SHOW The 2022 Realty Texas car show will feature cars, music, food trucks and a bounce house. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned food items or donations. Ticket holders may also enter their vehicle for a chance to win top 10 best in show status. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. $10-$750. Realty Texas, 2000 S. I-35, Ste. P, Round Rock. 512-476-5348. 12 HEAD TO AN AUTOCROSS EVENT The Spokes autocross club will be in Hutto as part of an event to show o cars and their capabilities. An autocross uses trac cones to make a mini roadcourse to see which driver can get the lowest time without hitting any cones or going o course. The event in Hutto will take place at the Brushy Creek Amphitheater. Participants must register

in advance at the Spokes website. 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. Entry fee starts at $26. Brushy Creek Amphitheater, 1001 CR 137, Hutto. 13 HELP THE COMMUNITY BY DONATING BLOOD The Hutto Chamber of Commerce will partner with We Are Blood to host the Hutto Blood Drive. We Are Blood’s donation vehicle will be outside the chamber building, and participants may register online at the We Are Blood website to book an appointment. 9 a.m.-noon. Free. Willard’s Brewery and Beer Garden, 2400 Patterson Industrial Drive, Pugerville. 512-910-4099. 18 TAKE IN A ROUND OF MINI DISC GOLF The city of Pugerville will organize a eld trip to play mini disc golf at the unique Flying Armadillo course in San Marcos. Participants will meet at the Pugerville Recreation Center, then head to the course to play a specialty course that is lled with novelty props and obstacles. Players will then have a picnic lunch before heading back to Pugerville. No experience is needed, and players must register online. 8 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. $15 (Pugerville residents), $20 (nonresidents).
