Funded through a 2020 Kyle bond and a $500,000 contribution from Hays County, the $3.4 million project will oer recreation for everyone from skateboarders, rollerbladers and cyclists to scooter riders, wheelchair users and more. When it opens this summer, city o cials noted the park will be the fth-largest of its kind and one of ve statewide to feature an all-wheels design. “This isn’t just a skate park,” Parks and Recreation Director David Lopez said. “It’s a space for everyone, regardless of age or ability.”
