PFLUGERVILLE Following a creation process that began in fall 2020, the city of Pflugerville officially adopted its Aspire 2040 Comprehen- sive Plan in April. The plan replaces the 2030 Com- prehensive Plan and identifies goals across all city departments that will help guide operations in the coming years. The 2040 plan updates several chapters from the 2030 plan, with the most sweeping changes coming to the land use, growth and develop- ment chapter. One addition to the chapter is a focus on developing walkable “10-minute neighborhoods,” defined by city staff as neighborhoods where residents can reach any service they might need in 10 minutes or less.
