The brand opened its first Katy location in December. Officials with commercial real estate firm NewQuest Properties announced the lease of an 1,800-square- foot space at the KFP Plaza shopping center, located at 1185 Katy Fort Bend Road, on May 25. The coffee shop’s menu includes Red Bull infusions, teas, espres- so, frozen and blended coffee drinks, and classic items—such as smoothies and hot chocolate. Beignets, yogurt parfaits, pastries and a plethora of sandwiches are among PJ’s Coffee’s food options.

An opening date was not provided. The new 4,280-square- foot space is located at the Gaston Retail Center and will double as a boba tea cafe, officials with the restaurant said. FEATURED IMPACT IN THE NEWS The Fort Bend Epicenter at 28505 Southwest Fwy., Rosenberg, continues development with a ve-year founding partnership with Energy Texas. As the ocial energy provider for the venue, Energy Texas will receive marketing assets from the Epicenter, which will open in late August. The partnership was announced in a news release May 23. The deal is the rst founding partnership for the Epicenter, said Tara Williams, chief marketing ocer for Energy Texas, in the release. A founding partner is a term used to describe an initial shareholder in a company. The marketing assets for the electricity provider will include arena signage, marketing messaging on the Epicenter’s marquis sign, LED video sandwiches.
