opened his second location in 2016 in Trophy Club. The restaurant slow smokes its meats with seasoned oak and hickory wood. The menu includes brisket for $24 per pound, ribs for $21 per pound and turkey breast for $21 per pound. Customers can also order individual sandwiches, breakfast tacos or family meals with sides such as jalapeno bacon mac and cheese, Notcha Momma’s Slaw or country-style potato salad. Sedino said he receives instant gratication when customers walk in the doors. “It’s such a highly competitive marketplace,” he said. “It’s a blessing to have them walk in, and it’s up to us for them to have a great experience.”

The family cooked samples for their neighborhood and received rave reviews, Sedino said. He then had the siblings’ recipe manufactured into rubs and sauces. Sedino started out with a bar- becue catering business rst. He said he came up with the idea for the name when a customer asked whether she needed to pick up the food or if it would be delivered. “I was like, ‘You tell me where you’d like it, and I’ll meet you anywhere,’” Sedino said. “It just clicked—Meat U Anywhere.” He opened his rst Meat U Any- where BBQ restaurant in Grapevine on Oct. 23, 2014. Sedino said he fullled his promise when he

That same day, Sedino said administrators with the town of Trophy Club expressed interest in having him launch his business in their town. Sedino said he promised to eventually open a restaurant there but wanted to start smaller. First came the recipes. Sedino said he asked his children, who were 7 and 9 years old at the time, to help come up with the seasonings. “We got all the spices out of our pantry and started blending,” he said. “They stuck their little ngers
