Salute to Public Safety The Woodlands Township
Adoption of No-New-Revenue Property Tax Rate On September 7, 2023, the Township Board of Directors adopted a "No-New Revenue" Tax Rate of $0.1714, thus effectively lowering the Township's property tax for residents. This means that a homeowner with an average taxable home value of $500,000 would pay $857 in property taxes to the Township. The Woodlands Township has one of the lowest property tax rates for a community of our size in the state of Texas. Township Board of Directors On the Agenda
Neighborhood Services received the Outstanding Crime Prevention Business Award from the Texas Crime Prevention Association for making the greatest impact
towards the crime prevention effort in the business community. This award couldn’t have been made possible without the partnership with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Unit.
