How do you plan to address drainage and ooding issues in the precinct?

When there is an area for concern in regard to ooding, we have four Gradall crews who respond and check the culverts and ditches for debris. If the issue is larger than that, we consult the county engineer’s oce ... to pro- vide schematics for improving the drainage. The county completes the work that is on county property and noties the proper authority ... regarding further steps.

First, I will require maintaining complete drainage pathways. Second, I will prioritize cleaning out tributaries which will prevent water back up and ooding during storms. Third, I will update development standards so runo from new developments no longer harm existing neighborhoods. Last, I will collaborate with other agencies ... to address local and regional issues.

How would you plan to spend the county’s American Rescue Plan Act funding?

The Meadows at Imperial Oaks is a naturally wooded community in Spring, Texas nestled in the master- planned community of Imperial Oaks and just minutes from The Woodlands. All the elements are right for your life to blossom here – pools and playgrounds, a 17-acre community lake with fishing dock, easy access to the roads that take you to work, the airport, or nearby medical facilities, and the Conroe I.S.D. is an excellent place for young minds to grow. Space to Roam, Grow, and Prosper.

Montgomery County was the only county where the [Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act] funds were not dis- tributed according to the instructional letter from Gov. [Greg] Abbott. I fully intend to follow all requirements. The funds would be distributed based upon guidelines, or we risk the potential clawback of CARES funds.

We will follow the federal guidelines, such as when we spent federally approved money to hire nurses due to the nursing shortage in Montgomery County.

If elected, what would be your rst action?

Rele the bill requiring half of the surplus budget revenue be paid to reduce local property taxes, a measure which 100% of all House Republicans signed on to support.

I will put forward legislation to lower property tax. I have already been seeking information from Texas Public Policy Foundation in Austin to get support in this. I will also continue to meet with law enforcement, re depart- ments, veterans, local and county ocials, business owners, and citizens and seek out ways to greater serve them. I will establish regular oce hours. Citizens will have access to their voice being heard in Austin.
