The new store is located at 1321 N. Westgreen Blvd., Katy. The restaurant focuses on the umami flavor profile—which is one of the five basic tastes along with sweet, sour, bitter and salty. NOW OPEN 1 Black Rock Coffee Bar opened a Katy location at the intersection of Clay and Peek roads July 7. The coffee shop is known for its roasted coffees, teas, smoothies and flavorful energy drinks, per a July 5 news release.
