Colleyville approves yearly gift card programs Colleyville residents will see several economic development programs rolled out throughout scal year 2025-26, including the city’s annual gift card programs. The programs were approved by Colleyville City Council at a Sept. 16 meeting. What you need to know Several programs will be rolled out this Christ- mas, including: • $35 Colleyville gift cards, which residents can use to shop at participating Colleyville businesses • $50 Colleyville Cares gift cards, which will be given to families in need to shop at Colleyville businesses • Colleyville Gives program, which allows sales tax businesses to receive a $1,000 advertising

Pool renovations starts in Trophy Club A $1.8 million renovation of the Trophy Club Community Pool and Splash Pad started Sept. 25. The breakdown The Fain Group will construct shade awnings and cabanas, according to town documents, when the contract was awarded Aug. 25. Chase Ellis, Director of Parks and Recreation, said the work will be done before the pool opens for the 2026 season.
Since 2018, the city of Colleyville has provided $5.38 million to businesses through the gift card programs.

Grapevine awards $20.75M contract for buildings Fransen Pittman Construction was awarded the contract for a Grapevine water and wastewater plant improvements project. The guaranteed maximum price is $20.75 million for the construction at the Sept. 16 meeting. The details The project includes two new administration buildings, one located at the water treatment plant and another at the wastewater treatment plant. The proposed project also includes new mainte- nance facilities at both sites. Construction is scheduled to start in October and is expected to be completed within 18 months, according to city documents. Grapevine council approved $37.6 million in bonds for utility work in April 2024.
