Meison Studio strives to be future of retail shopping in Southlake When brothers Steven and Eric Wang opened Meison Studio in Southlake in 2022, they did so with experience gleaned from growing up in the fashion industry. Their parents, Eddie and Ming Wang, are the founders of Meison and are the manufacturers of clothing lines Ming Wang and Missook. Steven Wang was inspired by what he saw when
he visited a Trunk Club, which was a fashion studio specializing in personalized styling. “It was welcoming, an incredible alternative way to shop,” said Kelsey Cameron, studio manager and head stylist. “He saw that and said, ‘That is the future of retail and luxury shopping rather than going into malls.’” A closer look Prior to the complimentary appointment with a stylist, customers will complete a questionnaire where they provide their details and how they like their clothes to t. Upon arriving, their stylist will present out ts they selected for them based on the data gathered from the questionnaire.
“One of the best things I hear from people who come in is they wind up trying things they would have never tried or picked out for themselves, but they wind up loving it,” Cameron said. The speci cs Meison Studio’s selection includes casual, professional and special occasion attire, Cameron said. “A woman said she hadn’t shopped much since having two children; she’d been stuck in leggings and hadn’t put on jeans in years,” Cameron said. “I educated her on attering styles and pulled a pair of jeans that made her feel so good. She said she nally feels she can wear cuter clothes again.”
