The two supplemental agreements were for additional engineering and professional services for design, bidding and construction phases. The $774,078 contract with Black & Veatch for design and bid services, as well as the $378,505 contract with engineering ‰rm CP&Y, brings the total professional services contracts up to $1.1 million. The capital improvement project, which is in the design phase, will connect the SH 45 pump station to the 960-foot pressure zone, an area where water pressure is managed to ensure proper ow and service.

December to assess existing rates. “The intent of that study is to help shape what increases may impact di–erent customer classes,” Hutto Public Works Director Rick Coronado said. The city of Hutto is in the construction phase of a $180 million expansion to its South Wastewa- ter Treatment Plant, and revenue collected from water rate fees has helped fund the project. Coronado said the rate study will also help the city budget and ensure funding for future projects.
