3 Woodlands Parkway at Kuykendahl Road turn lane extension Project: The project will add a left-turn lane and extend lane storage from northbound Kuykendahl Road to Woodlands Parkway. Update: Engineering design was complete, and the project was being prepared for construction in February, Precinct 3 officials said. • Timeline: Construction will begin mid-year. • Cost: $88,240 (design) • Funding source: Montgomery County road bond 4 Grogan’s Mill Village Center signalization Project: A traffic signal will be replaced at the intersection of Grogan’s Mill Road and the entrance to 2 Hwy. 242 widening Project: The Texas Department of Transportation is using the existing right of way on Hwy. 242 between FM 1488 and I-45 to widen lanes and restripe the intersections. Update: As of the most recent update released in late January, the project being carried out by Posillico Civil Inc. was 74% complete. • Timeline: Oct. 23, 2023-fourth quarter 2026 • Cost: $29.11 million • Funding sources: federal, state funds
