CONROE ISD The Rave 911 app will be introduced to Montgomery County school districts next year, offering a new way to communicate with emergency services or staff in emergencies, according to a Conroe ISD School Safety and Security Committee meeting April 19. Chris McCord, assistant super- intendent of operations, said Montgomery County 911 is looking to bring the app to all school districts in the county. Conroe ISD Police Chief Matthew Blakelock said the app can notify medical or law enforcement agencies as needed. McCord said Montgomery County is paying the majority of the costs. CISD will be responsible for paying the gap between the total cost and the funded amount, approximately $20,000. The app will roll out at the start of next year, McCord said.
