Update: Design is 90% complete, and ocials expect to bid the project in fall 2026. • Timeline: late 2026-late 2028 • Cost: $16 million • Funding source: city of McKinney EL DORADO PKWY. 2 East Virginia Street improvements Project: Reconstruction is planned for East Virginia Street between Murray Street and Airport Drive. The project will include a new alignment and connection to Airport Drive and a new roundabout at the intersection of Virginia Street and Lively Hill Lane. The project includes waterline, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, illumination, hardscape and landscape improvements. Update: Design is 90% complete, and ocials expect to bid the project in late 2026. • Timeline: late 2026-late 2028 • Cost: $15 million • Funding source: city of McKinney 3 Infrastructure improvements on College, Hunt, Davis and Church streets Project: Reconstruction is planned for existing MAINST. 1 Infrastructure improvements along Tennessee, Lamar and Hunt streets Project: Reconstruction is planned for Tennessee Street waterlines, sanitary sewer, drainage infrastructure, and street pavement on select sections of College, Hunt, Davis and Church streets. Update: Design is complete. Right-of-way and easement acquisitions are underway, and franchise utilities are expected to start within the next few weeks. Ocials expect to bid the project this summer. Update: Panel replacement work has been completed on Eldorado Parkway. Construction on Virginia Parkway will start in April. • Timeline: June 2025-late 2026 • Cost: $10.3 million • Funding source: city of McKinney
