6 Spin! Pizza The Frisco location is no longer listed on Spin! Pizza’s website and its Facebook page has been taken down as of Dec. 10. Spin! Pizza is listed as permanently closed on Google, and calls to the business from Community Impact went unanswered. The pizzeria opened its Frisco location in 2023 and offered pizza, salads, soups, sandwiches, gelato and more, according to its website. Spin! Harper Row Home has sold furniture, home decor and gifts from her store in Frisco since 2019, but she said the changing retail market led her to reconsider in-person sales. Once the move-out is complete, Harper-Hirosky said the next step is streamlining her online presence to make digital sales as easy as possible. 4 H-E-B fulfillment center The 51,599 square-foot building, which will be located at FM 423 and US 380 in Frisco, has an estimated construction cost of $14,439,910, according to the TDLR filing. The construction project is slated to begin in July 2026 and be completed by June 2027. • Intersection of FM 423 and US 380, Frisco • www.heb.com 5 McDonald's It will be 3,845 square-foot restaurant, which will be located at the northwest corner of PGA Parkway and Preston Road. 8 Portillo’s The Chicago chain broke ground on its first Frisco location Dec. 11, according to a company news release. A variety of Portillo’s signature menu items will be available at the new Frisco location, including: Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, char-grilled burgers and chocolate cake. • Opening early 2026 • Northwest corner of Gordon Heights Lane and FM 423, Frisco • www.portillos.com
