Lake Travis ISD board of trustees, Place 3 Erin Archer* Occupation & experience: Parent of three current LTISD students and one graduate. Small business owner (of 18+ years)
Why are you running for this position?
What is the biggest challenge facing the district and how would you address it? The most pressing challenge facing our district right now is selecting our next superintendent. To ensure we find the best candidate, it’s crucial to gather input from both the local community and our staff. I will carefully consider this feedback, along with all available resources, to make the most informed…
I am seeking re-election to continue the thoughtful and balanced leadership I have provided over the past three years. With the upcoming superintendent search and transition, I believe my experience and pragmatic approach will be especially beneficial in guiding our district forward.

I’m Jessica Howard, running for LTISD School Board Trustee, Place 3, to audit funds and end fraud and abuse. The board defunded special ed by 2.4 million, paid Superintendent Norton $200,000-plus to leave, ignored the bullying crisis and millions of bond mismanagement. I will restore integrity, accountability, and academic excellence...
LTISD faces financial mismanagement, a bullying crisis, and teacher retention challenges. I will enforce strict oversight, ensure transparency, and promote a strong anti-bullying culture. By restoring integrity and accountability, we can create a safe, supportive, and high-performing district where students thrive and teachers feel valued.

LTISD board of trustees, Place 4
What is the biggest challenge facing the district and how would you address it? LTISD finances must serve our students, retain and recruit the best teachers, and improve school rankings. I’m the candidate with the financial experience to balance a multi-million dollar budget in spite of a state funding shortfall and the communications experience to transparently engage, explain, and implement those changes.
Why are you running for this position?
I’m a parent with young kids in our district who wants to focus on real priorities like student success and a balanced budget. Educating our children should be a bipartisan issue, and focusing on that goal means LTISD can improve our school ratings, our children’s educations, and our property values.
Jonathan Bove Occupation & experience: Master’s Degree in Higher Education, student housing development, construction, and management, Landmark

Since moving here in 2019, I’ve seen that LTISD students are the heart of our community. I want to ensure our schools remain strong, retain great teachers, and provide students with a safe learning environment. Every student deserves an excellent education, a sense of belonging, and lasting opportunities for success.
The $6.3 million budget deficit is the biggest challenge. As a member of the Budget Advisory Committee, I work with the district to review revenue growth and expense reduction strategies that optimize resources and minimize impact on students and staff. More work is needed but we’re on the right track!
