Boo Bash 2023 The Plano Parks and Recreation event is held annually in October and features a carnival-like atmosphere with games and candy. Happy Hour Hike 2023 Plano residents can enjoy a sip-and-shop event to sample drinks and food; receive exclusive offers at shops and restaurants; and enjoy entertainment throughout the Legacy West neighborhood. There will also be photo opportunities, local artisans, nonprofits, and a chance to win a $300 gift basket to a chosen store. G110, Plano • www.visitplano.com Deaf Theatre’s ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ North Texas Performing Arts Deaf Theatre is putting on a production of “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Willow Bend Center for the Arts. The show follows the story of George Bailey as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. Plano Flags of Honor Rotary Club of Plano East is expressing gratitude to veterans and first responders by covering a field with over 1,000 3-by-5-foot American flags. A dedication card will hang on each flag that reflects the service given by the honoree.
