By the numbers Part of H-Town Dream Center’s mission is to help support and provide safe housing for women and children who are survivors of human tra cking, domestic violence and crisis pregnancies. Here’s a look at who the nonpro t helped in 2024: • 311 women and children discipled through the Our House Of Hope Program • 241 women and children rescued from domestic violence situations • 48 expecting mothers rescued from crisis pregnancy situations • 22 women rescued from human traficking situations

said the nonpro t also o ers a variety of life skills courses to those in its care. “They have parenting classes, baking classes, nancial classes, anger management classes,” Nelson said. “And they do all this while their kids are in school.” Additionally, Nelson said the nonpro t provides support through its Care & Share Food Pantry. Nelson noted the nonpro t would not be able to function without the help of the nearly 400 individuals who volunteer to assist at the center. Additionally, she said the center accepts both monetary donations and donated items for its Care & Share Food Pantry, as long as the items are in good condition.
