1 FM 1485 rehabilitation Project: FM 1485 is being resurfaced, including repairing the road base, adding new asphalt overlay and restriping. Update: Project work began in July to resurface 7.1 miles of FM 1485. • Cost: $8.8 million • Timeline: July 2025-July 2026 • Funding sources: federal, Texas Department of Transportation 2 FM 1314 rehabilitation Project: The road is being rehabilitated from Hwy. 242 to McQueen Road in Porter. Update: Work was 18% complete as of July 22, according to TxDOT. • Cost: $31.3 million • Timeline: January 2025-December 2028 • Funding sources: federal, TxDOT 3 Brook Forest Road rehabilitation Project: Asphalt is being repaired and the roadway is being restriped from the dead end to Hwy. 59. Update: Work began on the rehabilitation on June 23, according to the Precinct 4 Commissioner’s Office. • Cost: TBD
Astros Watch Party Watch the Astros play against the Yankees at The Food Zone. Food, drinks, shopping and photo opportunities will also be available for attendees.
