Motivation Station crafts healthier lifestyles Fueled by her success in a weight loss challenge, Anna Romero’s newfound passion for a healthy lifestyle motivated her to open her own nutrition shop in New Braunfels. How it started

Romero was motivated to start a business of her own, and opened Motivation Station in New Braunfels in 2016. What they o er Motivation Station features over 40 avors of protein shakes and lifted teas for energy, iced co ees and protein-baked items. Motivation Station also hosts free tness camps with kickboxing, kettlebell training and other workout challenges. Romero said she is proud of creating a safe space for new and regular custom- ers with di erent health goals. “Based on my experience, I want everyone to feel like they belong and know that it’s always possible to start a healthy lifestyle,” Romero said.

Romero said she was living an unhealthy lifestyle and was struggling with weight loss. She walked into a nutrition shop with her mom in Universal City in 2013, looking for support to lose weight. She was impressed with the variety of healthy shakes and teas and decided to join the club’s weight loss challenge and won second place. “I went from a size 10 to a size four,” Romero said. “I got some running shoes and never stopped.” After running a nutrition club two years prior,
