Airport to be renamed after Perot Sr. FORT WORTH A proposal is in the works to change the name of Fort Worth Alliance Airport to recognize the contributions of H. Ross Perot Sr. to the city and the creation of the airport. BY VALERIE WIGGLESWORTH

KELLER The city launched a pilot program in late May to test a com- pressed work schedule for sta with a review of the plan set for Oct. 4. “We’ll be collecting customer feedback; monitoring recruitment, retention and sta productivity; and surveying employees to determine whether this will be successful long-term,” Keller City Manager Mark Hafner said in a May 17 news release.

Fort Worth City Council voted at its June 14 meeting on a resolution supporting the name change. District, which was established after voter approval on May 7. Angie Grimm, Victor Malashi and John Thompson have been appointed to the board to serve one-year terms, ending in 2023. Krystle Joyner, Sean Turner, Werner Rind eisch and Deborah Brundage will serve two-year terms, ending in 2024.
