St. David’s acquires land for new hospital St. David’s HealthCare is set to begin work on a new hospital in Kyle. The backstory The hospital group announced it was pursuing a location in 2022. A location was selected at FM 1626 and Marketplace Avenue, and a letter of intent has been signed to purchase the land, according to St. David’s. The full-service acute care hospital is estimated to open in late 2024.

Residential market data

The home market in San Marcos, Buda and Kyle continued to balance out in July, according to data from the Austin Board of Realtors. The median costs of homes for the three cities were also down across the board with Buda seeing the largest year-over-year decrease in home sales at almost 20%.
