Oliver’s Gourmet oers more than Southern cuisine Cooking has always been a large part of Christo- pher Nichols’ family dynamic. He grew up watching his mother run her catering business, and he began cooking in his late teens, after watching the Food Network and Gordon Ramsay. In July 2023, Nichols and his parents opened

After 85 days in the NICU, Ollie was released home with a gastrostomy tube, facing the possibility of permanently struggling to eat by mouth. A family aair The restaurant name is not the only tribute to Ollie—he has an entire wall dedicated to sharing his story. Ollie’s family sees him as a gift from God, and they hope his story will inspire customers to believe in their own miracles. “It’s not just lling people’s stomachs, but lling their spirits,” he said. “His story is so incredible and continues to evolve and change ... we’ve been able to update his story periodically and let people know what’s going on with him.”

Oliver’s Gourmet is named after Oliver “Ollie” Nichols, a happy, healthy 4-year-old.
