Wish Well House hosts celebrations near the square Katy Bohls entered the wedding industry after looking for her own wedding venue in 2009, when she struggled to nd a space in Central Texas that suited her and her ance's personalities.

“When this property came up for sale, [I] was like, ‘This is perfect,’” Bohls said. “It’s a historic house. It has our personality [and] that character in it, but we can modernize it.” What they oer Along with renting the space, Wish Well House also oers wedding planning services run by manager and event coordinator Maggie Eakins. “I love the couples,” Eakins said. “It’s really fun for me to meet them at the tour, and then through- out the planning process and then on the day of it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s nally your day.’” Wish Well House hosts between 80-100 wed- dings per year, Bohls said, and with the versatility of the space, no two events are the same.

Bohls opened Wish Well House in 2021.

Now, Bohls owns Wish Well House in downtown Georgetown. She rents the space out for wedding and anniversary celebrations. The features Bohls describes Wish Well House as lled with natural light and tall ceilings, with a backyard feel, and a combination of historic and modern details. The space features a cocktail lounge, a main hall, an indoor and outdoor bar, a ceremony courtyard, two private suites, a shared restroom for guests, and additional parking coming soon.
