The Howard Hughes Corp. announced Feb. 21 that the com- pany will transform 2.3 acres into green space. According to the news release, The outdoor space is set to be located north of The Westin at The Woodlands, which is located at 2 Waterway Square Place. The space is adjacent to the south side of Waterway Square garage. According to the release, the landscap- ing is designed to encourage walk- ability through Waterway Square. The landscaping, which began Feb. 21, will include crepe myrtles and zoysia grass. According to Jim Carman, president of The Howard Hughes Corp. Houston region, the project is part of a partnership between Memorial Hermann and The Howard Hughes Corp.
