ABOUT US

Owners John and Jennifer Garrett launched the rst edition of Community Impact Newspaper in 2005 with three full-time employees covering Round Rock and Pugerville, Texas. We have expanded our operations to include hundreds of employees, our own printing operation and over 30 hyperlocal editions across three states. Our circulation is over 2 million residential mailboxes, and it grows each month with new residents and developments.

HIGHLIGHTS FROMTHISMONTH

FROMDENISE: It is great to see all of the recent business openings, such as Maggie Mae’s in Old Town Leander and Burn Boot Camp in Cedar Park. You can read more about new businesses on Pages 6-7. There are also more events happening. The Living Leander Expo will let you visit with businesses looking to hire, or you can catch the amazing Cirque du Soleil show at the H-E-B Center. Take a look at our entire To-Do List on Pages 8-9. Denise Seiler, GENERALMANAGER

Community Impact Newspaper teams include general managers, editors, reporters, graphic designers, sales account executives and sales support, all immersed and invested in the communities they serve. Our mission is to build communities of informed citizens and thriving businesses through the collaboration of a passionate team. Our core values are Faith, Passion, Quality, Innovation and Integrity.

FROMEDDIE: I love hearing and saying, “I don’t know.” It means I get a shot to educate myself or someone else. After last year’s redistricting, I heard it a lot, which is OK. It just meant I got to help my friends and family nd out who represented them and to dig into the topic myself. Our front- page story on your districts and our Primary Election Guide (see Page 23) will hopefully help you answer those questions. Eddie Harbour, EDITOR

Our purpose is to be a light for our readers, customers, partners and each other.
