Young students can learn about living o the land, emotional and physical wellness, and basic life skills, such as plumbing and changing a tire. Some classes available to adults include how to make butter, energy and crystal healing workshops, and canning and fermenting. Quinn said the business also plans to add summer camps and oer various types of therapy in a new building under construction called The Sanctuary. The Sanctuary will be ready near the end of 2022, Quinn said, and will be used for health and well- ness classes and therapy sessions. “I want this to be a place that the community has to come [and] learn,” she said.

While Quinn started the sanctuary in 2014, the barn and house on the property were built by Quinn’s father prior to 1978. Quinn still lives on the property with her family and father, she said. The business began with gardening classes, but Quinn said she quickly realized there was more to oer at Satori Sanctuaries. “It’s much more than just learning how to grow food,” she said. “One of the biggest things I’m pas- sionate about teaching, in addition to being healthy from the inside out, is emotional health.” Quinn said she attended massage therapy school
